Train yard, Aranjuez, Lomo LCA+

After a long day of marveling over fountains and monuments built for both royalty and gods, our final destination was this graveyard for trains, just by the station that would take us back to Madrid.

This is a place where objects go to be forgotten; a place where things have outlived their usefulness. This wasn’t built for royalty. This wasn’t a monument for the gods. Just out of view, the train tracks stop at a dead-end, and there’s nowhere else for things to go.
